This headset is one of the most popular headphones on the market today. On Amazon, the JVC HANC250 has 264 reviews with an average star rating of 4 out of 5.
The noise cancellation technology just crushes it, eliminating 85% of the background noise. That’s way better then the competition, even though this headphone is over the ear. They also have some other patentable noise isolation stuff that cuts out noise even when the noise cancellation is off.

I’ve tested the noise cancellation and the sound quality is great I love the ability to just listen to the music and fade everything else out.
I also don’t mind wearing these headphones for hours, as it is very comfortable to wear, and is very light at 5.3 ounces. It also folds flat so it takes up very little room in my bag when I travel.
This headphone takes a standard AAA battery, not some proprietary thing and the battery has a 50 hour life rating. While I don’t believe the 50 hours, I do believe the battery life is at least 25 hours and can easily be replaced with another standard AAA battery.
This headphone is also much cheaper then anything else with the same sound quality. From a price for value standpoint, you can’t beat the JVC HANC250.

The main negatives on this headphone are that the cable is short at 4′ and the battery is a bit hard to pop out and replace. There is also no volume control on the headphone.
